Edit log. start
This is a screen shot of the edited of our film. The first shot of the film is a walk in cam showing the front of school. The walk in cam will walk from the front of the school and then enter the doors to show the waiting area. This is a good start to film because it is showing someone entering the building.
The next shot is the the technloge that they use in the school. for example the shot shown blow is a touch screen to sign into the school. This is a good close up of the touch screen because it will showing the technology of the school. By showing the technology in the video the viewer this will show that Samuel Laycock is full of different technology and will surprise the audiences.

Edited log
After filming for a week at Samuel Laycock we can finally start reviewing the footage that we have taken and from reviewing the footage we can sort out the shots into an edited log. From doing a edited the process of the editing will be easier because we will know what shots are good and what shots are bad.
Second edited
Second edited
On the 17th of December we showed Samuel Laycock
the finally edited of their Film. We asked for the head teacher so we could
show the final edited of the film and too ask if she would like any amendments
to the final edit. After a week Andrew Foord emailed our team and he said he was
happy with the film but he wanted two amendments with the film. The two amendments
that he wanted was the start of the film with the walk though shot because it
was too shaky. The second amendment was to retake Lauren interview because it
was unforced.

Storyboards
These are our storyboards that we created for our promotional video. They are a bit basic, but in between all of these, there are cutaways, so it will not always just be interviews.
Samuel Laycock Proposal
Welcome all here. at the beginning of the process we was faced with the daunting task of creating a corporate video for a school in Tameside! being thrown in at the deep end. not knowing how to swim as we had not do anything like this before. all support of our tutors was taken and it was up to us to create this product. we were more or less left to our own devices. then we got allocated Samuel laycock. on our first visit we was faced with a mountain to climb, how to fit all aspects of your school into a short promotional film. through our day three key aspects kept coming up. Safety, school life and the school ethos happiness first all else follows. The well-being of the students.
we were asked to produce the video to entice potential students and parents to your school, I believe with my production team we have achieved and excelled at producing an enticing media product that shows of your school/ staff and students in the best light, including some of your most colourful characters. with out further ado I hand over to you the final product hope you enjoy.
