About Samuel Laycock

Samuel Laycock is Tameside's secondary school for students with moderate learning difficulties (MLD). With some students being on the Autistic spectrum disorders (ASD), we needed to take into account the difficulties the students have when filming the corporate video.

 The school can cater for 100 students with year groups of 20 students and classes of 10.  The school acts like a mainstream secondary with the students moving around the building to attend classes. Each Group has a Teaching assistant that moves with them throughout the day, too each lesson.
KS4 Students have the opportunity to access college or alternatives to build up their confidence in the community.
